Field of Dreams.
It was a HOT day, but we made it work.
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon when the Rotary Aggieland Satellite Club held its first-ever Bags & Brews Charity Cornhole Tournament. The event was organized to raise funds for ShelterBox, a disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and life-saving supplies to families affected by natural disasters and conflicts around the world.

The tournament was held on the grass field across from Blackwater Draw Brewery, and more than 30 teams registered to participate. The teams were made up of both experienced and amateur players, all eager to show off their skills and support a great cause.

McGregor and Teal, two friends who had been practicing for weeks, quickly rose to the top of the leaderboard. They had a perfect record throughout the entire tournament, easily winning their matches with a combination of precision and strategy.

As the final game approached, the excitement in the air was palpable. The crowd gathered around the two teams, cheering and rooting for their favorite players. McGregor and Teal faced off against a skilled duo, (newcomers to the game) who put up a good fight but ultimately fell short against the unstoppable performance of the winning team.

After a thrilling match, McGregor and Teal emerged victorious, winning a custom cornhole set of boards and a cash prize of $200. But more importantly, they had helped raise over $10,000 for ShelterBox, which would help provide shelter, warmth, and comfort to families in need around the world.

As the event came to a close, all the club members were thrilled with the success of their first charity cornhole tournament. They couldn't wait to organize more events in the future, all aimed at supporting great causes and bringing the community together.
